Are the Bar/Alcohol add ons 18+ only?


Yes, our Bar/Alcohol add ons are strictly 18+ only, this includes bartender and mixologist hire, as well as purchasing champagne.




How are you keeping COVID safe?


Our staff carries hand sanitiser at all times, provide contactless set ups, as well as wear hospital grade face masks where necessary. As well as taking extra porportions, after each cinema experience our hot tubs are thoroughly sanitised with a specialised hot tub solution. Please note, Tubflicks has also completed a business Covid safety course.




Can children use your hot tubs?


Yes, our hot tubs are safe for children, however strictly, at all times, under adult supervision. Children that cannot touch the floor of the hot tub or swim are highly recommended to wear and use safety equipment such as kids floaties. Please ensure you thoroughly read the safety instructions of these items as they could be a choking hazard.




Do you have insurance cover?


Yes, we have public liability insurance of up to $5,000,000. Please note, our insurance only covers our wonderful customers and not equipment, therefore the hirer is liable for any damages or replacement costs incured during the booking period.




What are your safety and hygiene rules?


- Please shower before entering the hot tub. - Enter and exit the hot tub slowly so that you do not fall or slip. - No Jumping or diving. - No animals in or near the hot tub. - Elderly persons must consult doctor before use. - Pregnant women should consult a doctor before use. - Please limit the use of alcohol as you can become dehydrated quickly. If you do choose to have an alcoholic drink in the hot tub, please make sure you drink lots of water alongside it. - Children must always be supervised by an adult when in the hot tub. - Never use the hot tub alone. - Do not enter if temperature is over 40°C. - Anyone with serious health issues should consult their doctor before use. - Please always place cover over the hot tub after use, this keeps it lovely and warm as well as maintaining cleanliness. - Do not use soaps or oils in hot tub.




How many people can fit in the hot tub at once?


Our hot tubs can fit up to 6 adults at once. Any overloading can result in damage, which you'd be liable for as explained in our terms and conditions.




Do you use chlorine?


Yes, we begin each hire with a shock dose of chlorine to keep your tub safe and clean.

Installation

How does the set up process work?


Our cinema experience set up begins with a risk assessment checklist conducted by a Tubflix team member. If the premises passes our risk assessment, our team member will begin set up of cinema equipment, decor and portable hot tubs (excluding our Dive-In Cinema package). All Tubflix customers are not only provided with a simple to follow set up and care guide, but are encouraged to also organise a virtual zoom tour of the selected space with us, this enables us to better organise in preparation for your cinema experience as well as identify potential hazards in real time. How do i prepare the selected package space?


Prior to selecting a space, please note our hot tub/s (or inflatable canopy bed) and projector screens will be positioned directly across from each other. We ask that your designated space is clear so set up is seamless. For hot tub bookings, a space of 2 x 2 metres of flat, clean and clear surface is required for each. All hot tub bookings require seamless access to a tap as well as a minimum of 2 electric wall sockets within 10 metres. If you don't have the above required spacing, we would love to organise a virtual zoom call to arrange a bespoke package. Please note, an easy to follow set up guide is provided for each booking.




How do you fill the hot tub?


At your nominated location, access to a tap is required, this is then connected to a hosepipe in order to fill the tub.




Can your cinema experiences be set up indoors or on balconies?


Yes! Our hot tubs are designed for both indoor, and outdoor use. Regarding any indoor or balcony bookings, we highly suggest you contact us to organise a virtual zoom tour of your selected space and location prior to booking or cinema experience date. This enables us to organise a bespoke package (if necessary) and allows you to avoid any assessment failures on the date of your booking.




How long does it take to fill in the hot tub?


It can take between 1-3 hours to fill in the hot tub/s, depending on your water pressure.




What happens if the hot tub does not fit?


The onus is on the hirer to ensure the selected space meets adequate spacing for safe installation. If the location fails our risk assessment, we will not move forward with cinema set up. Please note, a non-installation is therefore deemed as a cancellation.




Can Delivery be conducted with no one there?


No, we require an adult, 18 years and older to be present for delivery.




How long will it take for the hot tub to reach ideal temperature?


Our hot tubs can take between 15 to 24 hours to reach the maximum temperature of 40C, due to this we have a mandatory minimum of two day bookings. Temperature of hot tubs for each booking depend on multiple factors, including the time of year, and the temperature of the water used to fill the hot tub. Please note, we are able to connect our hoses to indoor taps in order to set the water setting on warm, which in turn enables your hot tub to heat up faster.




What time is delivery?


Tubflix will deliver your cinema experience between 2-5:30 pm.A confirmation of your delivery time will be sent via text 24 hours before your booking. If you have a requested delivery time, please contact us at hello@tubflix.com or 0450255759 so we can accomodate.





Pack Down

How does the pack down process work?


Collections are made any time up to 1 pm on your final booking day. Hot tub water is taken out and exited into your drain or nominated area. For easy disposal of tub water, this is completed with pumps and requires access to power. Overall, our pack down process takes up to 1 hour.




Must someone be present for pack down?


As long as we can gain safe access to the equipment, as well as a power socket no one is required to be present for collection.




What time do you collect the equipment?


Tubflix will collect equipment between 8am-1pm. A confirmation of your delivery time will be sent via text hours before your booking. If you have a requested delivery time, please contact us at hello@tubflix.com or 0450255759 so we can accomodate.





Care

Care of equipment


When booking with Tubflix, you are agreeing to take care of all hired equipment. Any damage which requires repairment or replacement will incur a full billing invoice. Tubflix endeavours to keep customers informed on equipment handling which is why upon experience set up, a Tubflix team member advises customers of care practises. Please advise Tubflix of any spills or damages immediately, this will enable us to fix any issues as soon as possible and avoid replacement of items. Nevertheless, by agreeing to our terms and conditions and booking with Tubflix, any and all damage to equipment leaves you (the customer) liable for full repair or replacement costs.

Unique Add Ons

How does an add on and cinema experience selection work?


Package exclusive add ons including guitarist, violinist hire, as well as group painting class are conducted during your nominated booking day, and time on the product screen. We endeavour to facilitate all requested booking times, in the unusual event that we cannot, customers will be conducted immediately to organise accordingly. Our unique add on selections of bartender and mixologist have a separate booking start time, providing customers with more flexibility. Your bartender/mixologist hire start time is selected via a separate calendar at the payment screen. Please note, customers are encouraged to select an add on start time of at leasta few hours after your nominated set up time.

Booking

How many hot tubs do i need to hire?


Each one of our luxury hot tubs fit between 4-6 people. With a selection of up to 3 hot tubs per booking, the ultimate movie experience can be hosted for 18 people.




What are the measurements of hot tubs and cinema equipment?


Tubflix provides an option of a 120'', or two 3 x 5m projector screens for each cinema experience. Our hot tubs measure at 196 cm x 71 cm, with an estimated filled weight of 945 kgs, and maximum heat of 40 degrees C.




What are the movie options?


At Tubflix we're major movie buffs, and we've curated a list of high quality movies for your enjoyment. Our most recent additions can be found on our movie options page, and are provided complimentary via usb for the duration of your experience. We highly suggest wifi signal is considered upon selection of experience space, this enables you to also connect a streaming service of your choice via wireless internet. Our projectors also have an HDMI connection option, provided you have the correct cable.




What if it rains?


We understand the weather can be unpredictable, which is why we enable customers to transfer bookings to a different date due to rainy weather 12 hours prior to a cinema experience, with no costs, depending on availability. Please note, as our hot tubs are portable, they're able to fit in compact spaces, therefore cinema experiences can be set up indoors. Alternatively, you can be in a comfortable, steamy hot tub whilst it rains, this shouldn't be an issue! If it rains during your booking time, you must take care to transfer the projector indoors, as well as the popcorn machine (if applicable). Due to our hire terms, customers do have a responsibility to ensure the equipment is looked after.




What's included in my package?


All cinema packages include a minimum of one portable hot tub (apart from the Dive-In Cinema Package), cinema equipment including projector screen and sound system, as well as gorgeous decor to accentuate your cinema experience. Please refer to individual cinema packages to see a full list of inclusions.




How long is a cinema experience for?


Our hiring periods are listed as below: Midweek Hire – Set up on Monday and pack down on Wednesday Midweek Hire option two - Set up on Wednesday and pack down on Friday Weekend Hire – Set up on Friday and pack down on Monday Experience set up usually takes 30-45 minutes, including inflating hot tubs or canopy bed, decor and cinema equipment set up. Depending on your water pressure, filling in your hot tub can take 1-3 hours.




How do i prepare for the cinema experience?


An adequate route is required for accessing your nominated space. Please ensure garden ornaments, furniture and other objects have been cleared. Please also take into account obstructions such as stairs, alleyways, carports etc, as this can make access difficult you must inform us in advance to organise and discuss the best options. Tubflix will require a parking space within close and convenient range to the location. Please ensure the nominated area for the hot tub is clean and cleared for seamless access to a 2x2 metre space. Access to a tap (excluding the Dive-In Cinema Package) and 2 electric sockets within 10 metres is required for each booking. What if i need to cancel?


Please note that once you have made a booking with us it means we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. - If you make a cancellation 14 days prior to your booking, a full refund is provided. -Cancellations of bookings within 14 days before the beginning of hire will be subject to a fee of $150.00, with a refund of the remainder being sent to your financial institution within 5 business days. -Cancellations made within 7 days before the beginning of hire will be subject to a fee equivalent to 25% of the rental price, with a refund of the remainder being sent to your financial institution within 5 business days. -Cancellations made within 48 hours before the beginning of hire will be subject to a fee equivalent to 50% of the rental price, with a refund of the remainder being sent to your financial institution within 5 business days. -Cancellations made 24 hours before the beginning of hire will not be subject to any refunds, and full payment will be retained for the rental. Please note, customers are able to reschdule their booking date if notice is provided within 7 days of the beginning of their hire, at no cost, subject to availability. To avoid a cancellation fee please provide cancellation notice at least 14 days prior to your booking start time. Where do you operate?


Tubflix currently only operates in the Gold Coast. Nevertheless, we love our product and are looking to develop promptly and encourage individuals from other locations to email enquiries so we can prioritise locations for our business expansion.




Prior to booking, what must I confirm?


For any hot tub packages, tubflix requires a minimum clear space of 2x2 metres for one hot tub, access to a tap within 15 metres and 2 power sockets within 10 metres. Our Dive-In CInema Package requires a swimming pool, and minimum space of 2x2 metres for projector screen set up, as well as access to 2 power sockets within 10 metres. Please note, as our hot tubs are portable, they fit in small, compact spaces. How do I make a booking?

What do i require for the Dive-In Cinema Package?


We simply require a BYO swimming pool, and space to set up cinema equipment including sound system, projector and projector screen.




Do you charge a security deposit?


No, we do not take a security deposit. However, by agreeing to our terms and conditions and making a booking with us, on the occasion that any equipment is damaged and requires repair or replacement, the hirer is liable for all costs.
